Jacob Vaus is an independent writer-director with a deep passion for storytelling.

Fresh off graduating from Chapman’s Dodge College, he directed SCUBA: a coming-of-age feature about scrappy, rebellious playwrights. The film premiered at the Chinese Theatre in 2023, garnering festival accolades and securing distribution through MVD Entertainment.

With its August release date approaching and a recent selection at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival, Jacob continues to share his intensely personal and kinetic stories with a growing audience.
